| IgA

Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is the second most abundant immunoglobulin in serum, accounting for 10–20% of total serum immunoglobulins. It is found in mucosal tissues such as the digestive tract, respiratory tract, and urogenital system. These mucosal tissues contain mucosal lymphoid tissue that produces IgA to prevent pathogen invasion. IgA is also present in saliva, tears, and breast milk—particularly colostrum, which has a notably high IgA concentration.

| Recovery

The recovery of Dog IgA spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
